Flange and Valves Bolting Seminar presented by Alex Roman, TRIPAC. Class instruction will cover: ASTM steel bolts, corrosion protection, material grade, manufacturers identification, thread pitch change, stainless-steel galling problems, torching off bolts/nuts, electrolysis and torque requirements.

Greetings!
I hope everyone has had a great year thus far. In the January newsletter I shared changes the association implemented. So, don’t forget the next class and dinner meeting will be held on March 25, 2020, and it will be held in a different meeting area of the restaurant.
Remember there are two options for attendees to participate in the classes and meetings. Attendees can attend the dinner only or the dinner and class. The cost of the class/dinner is reduced from $45.00 to $35.00 for members, $40 for non-members. The dinner only price will remain $25.00.
We are looking forward to the March 25th class, which will be taught by Alex Roman, from TRIPAC, entitled Flange and Valve Bolting. The class will touch on topics such as: how to identify bolts, grade of material, manufacturers identification, thread pitch change, stainless-steel galling problems, torching off bolts/nuts, electrolysis and torque requirements. I hope everyone can attend this informative class.
There is still time to register for the March 20th, 7 CEU, Water Distribution Operator Review Class. Patrick Milroy packs in a LOT of information.
If you haven’t yet, please take a few minutes to register for your 2020 Membership. It has been MANY years since the organization’s By-Laws have been updated and all members will be voting at the March 25th meeting for the updated version.
