August 28, 2025 CEU Class and Dinner Meeting

Our next dinner meeting will be held at the Original Roadhouse on Thursday, August 28th. Once again, we’re honored to have Raymond Rodriguez, with Southwest Valve and Equipment, to present a CEU-eligible course on “AWWA Check Valves” and Noah Heller CEO-President / Senior Hydrogeologist for Besst, Inc. as our keynote speaker, presenting on “Zonal Geochemistry Investigations in Public Supply Wells and Application to Long Screened Test Wells for Municipal Supply.” His discussion will explore typical patterns of formational distributions of arsenic, hexavalent chromium, iron, manganese, and nitrate, and how thoughtful planning can help avoid or reduce costly treatment.

As announced at the June meeting, vendors are invited to sponsor dinner for individuals who have not previously attended an HDMWA Dinner Meeting and who have an interest in pursuing a career within the water industry.
