August 2026 Dinner Meeting Newsletter
Summer has arrived, and with it, some intense heat. Our operational staff are now working on their summer schedules, with safety and hydration remaining our highest priority. As temperatures continue to rise, the High Desert is experiencing increased demand on its water systems. This serves as an important reminder of the critical role water professionals play in delivering reliable service, protecting public, health, and ensuring our water systems are prepared to meet the challenges of peak seasonal demand. We and the community appreciate you all!
Our June’s dinner meeting was “insightful”, “informative”, and “engaging”. Just a few of the comments shared by attendees following the class and presentation. A special thank you, Mike Millard of Mueller Company, for delivering another informative and entertainingclass. We also extend our appreciation to Shyamala and Adelina of Carollo Engineers for providing valuable insight into operational hydraulic modeling and its practical applications.
We are pleased to invite you to our August “Vendor Appreciation”Dinner Meeting. This annual event provides our valued vendors the opportunity to showcase their products, services, and innovative solutions while connecting with water industry professionals. We are excited to offer another evening of practical training and technical insight. Our program features a CEU class presented by Master Meter focusing on Meter Metrology, followed by a presentation from ASTERRA – Utilizing Innovated Technology to mitigate unaccountable water loss, sub-surface leak detection.
Our Association remains dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for training, collaboration, and connection. Whether you are a long-time member, attendee, or joining us for the first time, we are glad to have you as part of this community.
